Store card version (Synchrony) is 5% all purchases if u have Prime
Now I'm confused as to what the question was. I read it as which cards would reimburse the annual $95 Prime fee with a statement credit of 5%; in my experience both Chase Freedom and Discover it have been lax as to what's categorized as an Amazon.com purchase so it should credit, the Amazon Prime Store Card does not consider the fee to be a purchase, and I am not sure about the Chase Amazon card. If the question is which card will give you 5% back if you pay the $95 fee to be a Prime member, then it's the Amazon Prime Store Card from Synchrony, the Chase Amazon card, and the aforementioned category cards when Amazon.com is included as a 5% category.

The Chase Amazon Prime does give 5% cashback on the prime membership fee.
I have my fee come out monthly in 10$ increments that way I do not feel guilty about having Prime.
One thing I love about my Chase Amazon is that it shows me how much cashback I am earning on every purchase, unlike Discover.
Discover explicitly says that the Prime fee/renewal counts as an Amazon.com for their purposes. So there's 5% there.

I think I'd rather feel guilty about having Prime rather than paying an additional $20/yr for it (plus tax if applicable).
Yes, I would like to get 5% back for paying the annual fee.
I have Chase Amazon, Synchrony Amazon, Discover It, and Chase Freedom. It's great that all 4 will give 5% back!
It got easily lost up above, but I am almost certain that on the Synchrony Amazon Prime Store Card, the Prime membership fee doesn't count as a "qualified purchase." I am not sure if it's worth my time to update the billing before renewals to save $4.75 a year, though.
+1 on gailjnh's comments, depdep8. I believe the monthly option is $10.99, which is $131.88 a year, or like putting it on a Credit One 33.2% APR credit card and taking a year to pay it off.
On a side note, make sure if anyone is still / or going back to school to sign up for the student version... 1/2 price.... it makes me feel so much better... lol
