I'm already a prime member and thinking of applying for the Amazon Prime Store Card. The special financing is attractive along with the $100 gift card upon approval and 5% cash back. Not really interested in the Visa versions and I'm not a Whole Foods shopper. Is it true that Synchrony pulls TU? Do you know which scoring model will be used. I only have 1 inq. on TU this year.
I was approved in May; yes, they only pulled my TU. I don't know about scoring model.
Also got a CLI after 3rd statement date. Good luck!
You could also try for the Chase Amazon card.
I am not a big fan of Synchrony
I have seen where somebody was recently approved and they pulled EquiFax in April.
OP, it often depends on where you live what they choose to pull. I would get all your ducks in a row before applying.
They use TU the majority of time. They use Vantage 4.0.

I'm guessing OP is past 5/24. Recent posts and approvals. Also Chase isn't fond of a lot of recent apps.
I too am not a big fan of Synchrony however I burned Chase a few years ago, an account was charged-off. It's paid just waiting for it to fall off mid-2021. I'd rather have a CSP or CFU than an Amazon Visa if I can get back in their good graces.
They pull TU most of the time but occasionally will pull EQ or EX and they use a number of different scoring algorithms including FICO, Vantage, and their own in house scoring solution. No telling which until you get the letter.
Slightly unrelated, I wanted to point out the title of this thread has the most hilarious spelling of Synchrony I've ever seen.
On topic, if your scores are fine across the board, give it a shot. The smart people here seem to believe there's a fairly good chance they'll pull TU which is what you wanted.
Do let us know how it turns out.
Thanks everyone, I applied and was approved! TU was pulled.
