I guess you could ask for what you want. But in reality. never seen either of those over 20k. and those are for people with exceptional scores. like 800s. 10k is the standard asking for cli's and most of the time they will counter. if they don't call back next day as you left money on the table.

Mine is at $5k I know someone in my family who has $15K and he is retired with serious prime scores. He was the one who consigned for me on my very own first credit and that was best buy store card when they had HSBC.

I have seen a WM limit a high as 35K just depends on your income, overall exposure with Synchrony and credit score. I would ask for 25K and let them counter.

Im always scared to ask for much amount because i dont know why they not counter me.

I'm not sure what the maximum is for store cards. Maybe you can set a personal goal for yourself. Best wishes!!!

I'm not sure either but will be following.  I have $4000 on each but just got $5000 at Gap and $10000 at Lowes.  They are all backed by the same bank.  I have heard always ask for $25000 and they will counter, I always ask for $10,000 but with Lowes they didn't counter so I might have left some money on the table.  I will try again with them soon.

Amazon Store Card is at least $30K, Walmart MasterCard is $50K and I've seen Walmart Store Card to $35K.

Once upon a time, I had a poor little $400 Walmart credit limit. The first time I called up the big bad Synchrony UW after reading for hundreds of hours over 13 months I asked confidently for $25K credit limit.  

I was given a $6,000 limit (1500% CLI) with a sub 670 TU FICO 08 score!   

The credit limit game takes brass balls!

You won't get any CLI's unless YOU ask for them and when you ask you go BIG.

Mine was increased by $1K so I'm at $6K for my Wal-Mart Store Card
