Greetings all,
As the title states, I am wondering everyone's thoughts on these Amazon Credit Cards. My DW is a AMAZON GIANT and spends thousands of dollars annually on their webbsite and I figure might as well get some savings out of it. One question I have is whether or not this card is a signature or co-branded card from either Chase or whoever backs U.S. Bank Cash+ Visa Signature Card? Which one is a better card in your guys card? Thanks for your input.

I have both cards, and I do primarily use the U.S. Bank Cash+ for my Amazon purchases (along with two other cards that are no longer available). I don't think I would have picked up my Cash+ if I could not use it for Amazon. I keep my Amazon Visa because I don't expect a couple of my Amazon go-to cards to stay around forever and because I don't expect the 'bookstores' category loophole to be around indefinitely either. I don't like store cards with no card network, so I am not interested in the Prime card at all.
Finally, I haven't encountered this yet, but apparently there are certain purchases that will not code accordingly for rewards for bookstores. It is definitely a drawback for cards that don't have a dedicated Amazon category, and instead have to rely on the bookstore category.

That was going to be my suggestion as well... If your wife is HUGE on Amazon purchases, go for the store card for the 5%, it's almost impossible to beat
For big Amazon shoppers, I agree that's the best option (and I assume you have Amazon Prime if you are such a huge Amazon shopper!).
