Re: Amazon.com Visa Question

You can have and use the credit card without ever even using Amazon but why youd want to is another question, as the real benefits are mostly tied to amazon.

No you do not.  You have the Visa and it can be used every where Visa is accepted.

Thank you for the wealth of knowledge I have learned from these forums. I am logging off as of November 9, 2022. I wish everyone great success.

Re: Amazon.com Visa Question

They have been fantastic for me. I had a couple issues before and they solved them no problem and even extended my prime membership without me asking just for the trouble. Sucks you had bad experiences. What were they if you dont mind me asking.

Wow, Chase offered you a prime membership for free? I have the amazon.com visa and out of my 8 Chase cards, it ranks in the top 3.

I shop a lot at stores like CVS and Walgreens where I get the 2% cash back, I also think its nice that u get 2% cash back on food places, too.

And, I am a big amazon.com shopper. My only regret is not getting the card in black lol. But as OP as and others mentioned, u never have to shop on amazon to keep the card, it just defeats the main purpose of the card.

Re: Amazon.com Visa Question

Are you saying you're considering closing your Amazon.com account?  Why?  If you don't want to do business with them, then just don't order anything.  Why close the account?

+1 I have no clue why you'd bother closing your account...just don't buy anything on Amazon if you don't want to use Amazon. Pretty simple

I'm guessing it's harder to take your bat & ball and go home when you simply don't show up for the game.
