I get 5% cash back 

my question is do I get the 5% back when reload my amazon gift Account with the amazon prime card also ?

or it's only for regular purchases

I believe so: "3% Back or 5% Back is earned only on purchases made at Amazon.com (including... Amazon.com Gift Cards...)"

Yes. Amazon gift cards from Amazon are sort of considered a regular purchase. There really is no difference to them, if you think about it.

The full name of the Chase card is Amazon Prime Rewards Visa Signature Card. As far as I can tell, the Synchrony card is officially called the Amazon.com Store Card. "Prime" is easy to associate with either card. Terms like Chase, Synchrony, Visa, or store card clarify effectively.

You can buy any gift card on Amazon, including reloads for your Amazon gift card, without issue.

There is an Amazon Prime Store Card too. That's the version that earns 5%. Regular card doesn't.

Thanks for the clarification. To add to what I posted earlier, Chase also drops the word Prime when there's no prime membership. So each bank offers cards with and without the word Prime.

I am guessing Since My Chase Amazon Visa says "Prime" right on the front ,, it is the "Prime" version
