I got an Amazon store CC in May w/$1800 CL. I PIF each month. (Love the card! ) I was wondering how they are on CLIs. It's been 6 mos, so I was thinking of requesting one.
Also, what is the best way? Online? Or by phone?
Thanks!
I got my amazon card in june...sl 1700. Got an auto increase to 2400 in sept or october. Requested an icrease right after that, denied. Requested again via chat and got increase to 4k. I havent used the card a whole heck of a lot, but used the utilization excuse. Synch has been fairly easy to get increases for me. My lowes card started at 1500 also in june, now sits at 12k. That card has gotten a heck of a workout since i closed on my house the same day i got both of those. They also gave me a nice increase on my ebates visa.
They've been pretty generous in my experience. Went from $2.2K starting limit to $12K over the course of a few CLIs over 15 months.
There's two easy ways online. The better one is to go into online chat and request a SP CLI for whatever amount you want. Aim high - I asked for a $7K CLI thinking that was too much and they gave me all of it. Wish I had asked for more.
The second one is through the button found on the account homepage. It's not bad - I used it a couple times before I knew about online chat. It's the computer giving a small bump, most of the times $500 to $2K. It can be reliably tried every 4 months, but some people have gotten it to work in a shorter turnaround time.
Good luck!
Thay have been great with me! I love this account! I started with a limit of $600 and right after I made my payemnt on my 6th statement, I was given an automatic increase to $3500.
Thanks! I'll try the online chat. It's not avail right now. Is it only open during regular business hours? Also, do they ask a lot of questions, like why I want an increase, confirming income, etc.?

Generally most lenders will confirm income, employer name, housing payment and rent/own status when determining CLI requests both HP and SP.
If they ask why you want an increase, just say you have a few big purchases you'd like to make for the holidays and want to use the financing promo. They won't check to see if you actually follow through with it.
There's been some talk lately of the Synchrony chat having technical issues with their moving to a new web design. I would check again during business hours but you may have to wait.
Thanks! I'll check tomorrow.

Chat chat chat chat chat! Ask for 25k and they will counter with the highest they can give u.. Had mine since april, started at $850. Went to 3k, 5k, 6k very fast. I am requesting one tomorrow as well!
They were pretty generous with me. I originally received a $400 limit 9 months ago, auto-increase to $700 after 3 months, and another auto-increase to $6000 after 6 months.
