I applied for a BofA secured card online, instructing them to take the deposit from my BofA checking account. Did not get an firm approval confirmation, but rather:
"Once we successfully fund your Secured card account, we'll send you a card within a few weeks of receipt."
Can anyone who funded their secured card directly from checking or savings tell me if this is the same message they received, or has anyone received instant approval worded differently?
I've seen folks say that after mailing in their app along with a check, it took almost a month to receive the card. I'm wondering if funding it directly from a BofA account speeds up the process.
