As someone who works in a hostile customer service environment myself, I support this statement.  But I support the employees, not the machines they work for.

Re: American Express

Amex is easily my favorite issuer.  They are by far more generous with credit limits and rewards than any other issuer I've worked with.

Re: American Express

I've always wanted America Express when I just start building my credit over the years but now I don't care for them! I think back in the days they were awesome but now I think they are the worst of them all! To finish that my credit is almost 800 pretty much can get any card I apply for!

and i also sort of hate AMEX and their intrusive FRs, but i guess once they've verified you to be cool, they leave you alone for a bit

Could be worse! Could be Barclay's who is just as intrusive with a lot less of a credit line and benefits.

No Navy? 80k on 2 cards here. That's nothing to sneeze at. I'd say that can rival many issuer's.

Re: American Express

Out of all of my cards, Amex is becoming my least favorite issuer. For others they may like them best so it varies person to person
