Well I have past my 180 day mark from my first CLI on my BCP and am in the final prep stages before I pull the trigger again. My starting limit was $8400 (which matched my other highest account). My 61 day brought me to $15,400 which is where I stand now. Nothing on my profile has changed except that the BCP (which took 4 months to report) has an MSD of 1982 so my AOAA went up. I incurred one inquiry on EX since but that was for an apartment lease. I'm waiting for my last round of balances to report this month and then I'll pull an EX to check for a soft pull. Income verifiable at 80K.
Is 25K the best number to request here? Is there any way to force an Amex soft so I don't have to sit and wait for them to get the newest info?
Thanks! Happy father's Day!

The amount requested should be your decision; if $25k suits your spending then ask for that amount. There isn't a way to 'force' a sp for CLI's and Amex can and often will use two month old SP's
