Amex 95

Why in all the advertisements for their cards, that Amex put "Membership Since 95" and not "Membership Since 58" like they did in the past and before 1995?

Marketing.    Probably they are targeting a younger, hipper crowd that wouldn't want anything from 1958....like, that would like be something their grandparents would want...
