Small win for me but figured I'd share, requested via chat with Amex to reduce my current APR which is 14.50 %, the CSR took about 2-3 minutes came back and said she was able to reduce it down to 10.24 %! Awesome.

Congrats OP. Themanwhocan, you can call the number on the back of your card and they can process for you as well. I got mine lowered some months ago (not as hefty as OP) from 17.9 to 13.9%.

My Amex BCE started at the lowest advertized APR. I tried for an APR reduction via chat a week or so ago, and when they couldnt do it they referred me to call that number because they can reduce APR below the advertized range. So, since the OP's APR was reduced so low, I wondered if he called the special number.
