I received the Amex BCE card about a year ago (March 2013). My initial CL was $5K and after two CLI's the current CL is now at $24K (I did not want to exceed that CL amount, at least for now.) The TOTAL amount I've charged so far on this card since receiving it has been LESS than $200.00.

Yes, I forgot my daughter's went up 8x for some reason, when she never used her card. So clearly usage is only necessary when Amex decides that it is.
