If I'm granted a CLI(sp) on my ED is there a possibility that they may take some from my HH?

This is a pretty well-known BoA sleigh-of-hand thing but I don't remember ever hearing of AMEX doing it.

Probably not.

In my experience, they usually only take limit from another card if you are opening a new card. (I then just SP CLI the card they took a limit from).
