I have three cards confused on how the requests will work:
BCE- received initial cli after getting card. do I wait 6 months and request another 3x or what amount?
Delta SkyMiles & Hilton- got these both two months or so after the BCE, was declined initial CLI's said need to be open at least 60 days, do I wait 60 or 90 days or only can get the BCE cli @ the 6month mark?
From my experience with Amex - all CLIs are cumulative. If you apply for one, it's deemed for all the cards. If declined for one card, you cannot app for same or another card for 3 months.
Hope others have better view

It took me almost 2 years to figure this out but:
1. if you get a CLI on any Amex card you can't get another on any Amex card for 6 months... then you can only get 1 CLI on 1 card
2. if you get turned down for a CLI on an Amex card you need to wait 90 days to apply again
im still confused. so my BCE 6 month mark would be at july or so- would i ask for one then? Bear in mind i was denied initial starting limit increases on my other two which god knows count 90 days may be late july or august if it were pushing ANY cli to 90 days since then. and if i ask before 90 days after a denial say 60 days does that add an additional 90 days because i wasnt eligible to request again yet? or does it nullify it?
And for future requests in general beyond initial 3x requests- how much can/should you request?
I think in this case the 90 days after denial on the 2 newer cards isn't going to come into play because you did receive the increase on the BCE (in January, I'm guessing, since you stated the 6 months will be up in July). You can only get ONE credit limit increase every 6 months across all cards so you will be ineligible for any increases until the 6 months has passed from the BCE increase. You may have initially gotten the reason that the others hadn't yet been open for 60 days, but if you apped again after they were 60 days old you'd get the 6 month reason.

It's my understanding that you cannot get a CLI on any Amex card until 6 months have passed since your last CLI on an Amex card and that you cannot get more than one CLI every 6 months.
But that's just my understanding. Maybe I'm wrong. Perhaps an Amex CLI expert can chime in here.
Here is what I believe it to be based on my most recent experiences:
One CLI (if approved) on one card every 6 months all others must wait.
No CLI request for 90 days on any card if previously denied.
Can I request more than 3x on my 6month request?
I put 23k through on a 2k limit card in 5 months. i hate having to keep paying it during a month but thats all I can do with it. the PRG is great but i still want the revolving cards to go up since limits reported.
