Ok, so what do you think happens if you spend 100000k a year?

To clarify, the 4506-T is one tool that is often used in a FR, but requesting a 4506-T for income verification isn't in itself a financial review.
Thanks, good to know. I'm kinda surprised since a lot what I've read at other places and seen on youtube use FR associated with CLI including me till now.
Unrelated question if I can ask in this thread.. Is Macy's Amex (or any other Amex logo card, not from their site) considered a part of one's Amex line of credit ?

Income always matters. How much may depend on the profile and other factors, but income always plays a role.
I can assure you that all other things being equal, if your income doubled from $8k to $16k, Amex would be more comfortable increasing your credit limit to a number > $16k.

The Macy's Amex is issued and underwritten by DSNB, which is part of Citi. While the card runs on the Amex network that's where the association ends... all of the underwriting is handled by DSNB/Citi.
