Amex CLI with Balances - What are the ODDS ?

Hi Everyone,

I was recently approved for Amex BCE with $10k SL (April)

I came through few threads over here showing 3x CLI and I was wondering if I could try some after 61 days

Right now I have following situation

BofA Cash Rewards - CL - $4500

BoFA BBR - CL - $1500

Amazon Store Card - CL - $7000

Capital One QS - $500

Amex BCE - CL - $10k

I have transferred my balances to Amex BCE which made Amex BCE's Utilization to around 1.5k and by June it will become around 2k. 

I have emptied all other cards, which means $0 balance on all other cards

Are there any chances of any increase in credit limit by Amex if I carry balance around $1.5k to $2k (which will make my payments to Amex $100-$500 in two months) ?

Edit: I have recently got CLI for two accounts BoA Cash rewards and Amazon Store Card in April , will that affect my chances to get CLI after 61 days ?

If you are eligble for one i dont think Amex will have a problem granting you the increase but it always depends on how they view your profile. YMMV always but seems to me they like what they saw to grant you 10k so my advice judt continue to use responsibly and good things should happen

Agree that there should be no problem. Wife got a 2x and a 3x while carrying a higher util % on a BT.

Does it matter if I have recently got CLI with other two accounts in the same month (April)?

I was at $1150/$2000 and paid $940 yesterday (last statement balance). Requested today with a balance of $210 and got my 3x from $2k to $6k. My 61st day was technically last Friday.

You're more than fine for a CLI with that small balance. I've gotten many with balances. Also, when you think about it.. a bank might find it odd if you request more credit and aren't using what you have.
