Hello.. I applied and was approved for the Amex Cashback Magnet card with 0 annual fee.. On Jan 27.. I've used the card, have have gotten back the 200SUB.. However I don't see where I'm accumulating any cashback on my purchases. Granted it's only 1.5% I still would like to know what I'll be getting possibly. My 1st Statement cut on the 27th of Feb.. Does it take longer to show up?
Thank you in advance

It is a month delayed. Rewards for purchases made in that first month will show up on the 27th March statement. It should give some indication of this on the statement from what I remember.
ETA: This is true every month, not just the first. The Amex cashback cards delay the rewards by a month. But SUBs, as you saw, post very quickly
Thank you..
I guess the discover tracker has me spoiled..
Odd, I would think it should have posted your current balance by now. You can go to statements and it will itemize the transactions, though that's on the BCP. Not sure how they do the Magnet. You might have to wait until the second statement though, thay are kind of slow with CB eanings posting.
Thank you.. I'll see what happens when the 2nd Statement post.. I can't complain to much.. I'm enjoying the fact that they haven't posted the actual card to the CB as of yet.
Cash back is delayed by 2 statements. If you login to the website you might see your rewards dollar under pending. Yea not a fan of how Amex does it either.
In my experience, Amex has a one-month delay for posting rewards. You should see the cashback next statement.
