Okaaay. After looking at that. Smiley Embarassedwill use revolver mostly. Charge for big purchase only. Then pay a couple days after the charge. Guess I will not even wait on statement on the green card. Too much pressure. Lol

How is there any pressure?

It is LITERALLY the same thing as using a revolver.

Steps:

  1. Make Purchase(s)
  2. Get Statement
  3. Pay by due date

There is nothing else too it. I'm not sure what you're freaking out about.

Agreed.

I was even a little confused about how it worked at first.

OP, If it freaks you out so much, see if they'll let you add "Pay over time" to your account.

Re: Amex Charge rules clarification

Not freaked out. I have revolver already.   I was thinkng when I make charges of 1k -2k. I will just pay asap. And nothing affects util. Because of charge. I do want yo build my internal limit over time on charge card.  That's why I will use. I just know hen due. And always pay on time. So in other words. To keep amex happy. When statement cuts. Pay within 2 weeks. If that's how it is no problem. I is heard my friends say the charge card sucks. Smiley Happy

Re: Amex Charge rules clarification

It only "sucks" because you can't be irresponsible with it and expect a long relationship with AMEX.

I agree. I've not been late with anyone in over 11 years. So I'm sure I'm. Not changing anytime soon.
