I would like to know how they determine who gets what deal , my mom got the amazon , but i didn't get amazon or costco :-(

Me too!  

But, in all these years, I've never been able to decipher any pattern on how Amex determines whom gets what.  I've had no annual fee cards get some offers, while the fee ones don't; have had business cards get some offers, and some only for personal cards.
