Have you actually tested it to see if it works contactless? My dual interface BCE never works contactless. I used to have the old contactless card and that always worked, but I've just received my THIRD replacement dual interface card and none work via contactless, the transaction is always rejected.
I have not tried it yet, just got it this afternoon.. Will report back when I have a chance to try it somewhere.

I have tested both my ED and PRG at my local grocery store and both work just fine with contactless.
This is the first I've heard of the PRG being available in contactless (not talking about EMV chip).
If correct, hopefully this feature will be migrating to all of the other charge cards as well.
Yes, my PRG indeed has both EMV and contactless chip. The chip is bigger than the standard EMV chip and there is a black contactless symbol at the bottom right corner on the back of the card.
I am going to chat online with CS to see if I can get my BCE with contactless!
On a related note, I notice that with the contactless, the EMV chip is the larger "Chase" style EMV chip that actually has two more contacts versus the more common EMV chips out there.
So I spoke to online CS and ordered contactless Green and BCE cards, the rep was very specific that the Green is also available as contactless as well which surprised me since I only asked about BCE. He was very knowledgeable about it and specifically mentioned that the chip will look different and that it has the "wifi" symbol on the back as he described it

This is great to know!
I don't have a need for contactless at the moment, but if/when more places I shop change over to contactless terminals, I will definitely get my cards changed out.
Also, folks who travel overseas have said that at some unmanned kiosks they have problems using American Cards (even with EMV chips) since there's no PIN, however contactless seems to work (when it's available). I have no way to verify this, but it's something to think about if one is going to be traveling overseas.
So how do you use it, hold the card over the card reader or what? And what places where you can use them at? Thanks.
