Hi everyone,
So everything I read about Amex doing an FR points to them doing it on charge products. Has anyone seen an FR on a revolver? It seems as though something triggers it, then they implement a hard limit for a while. Since the revolvers already have a hard limit, is this why they (don't) do it for people with only revolvers?
yeah, i've been thinking this too. whenever you hear about fr, it is always pertaining to some charge card. i can't remember when or who was fr'ed on their blue.
when balances go up amex gets scared...lol
i think being fr'd is something that happens when your overall credit situation starts to negatively change ie. high balances, alot of inquiries or new revolving accounts can trigger aa from any card company.
Bump....anybody experience a FR on a revolver?
F/Rs happen both on AMEX revolving and charge products...had one on Amex Clear a couple of years ago.
Hey smc, did you ever get your blue approved?

Still waiting, going on a week here. If it doesn't pan out, I'm gonna be done with Amex and look into Discover/Chase.

Have you tried calling them or checking application status lately?

Called Friday:
Your application has been sent to a special department for review and they will contact you in 7 days.
Called Monday:
Your application is being processed as normal and you will either get a denial letter or the card in 7 days.
I'm about to call them tonight.
FR can happen on a revolver.
