Don't let low limits discourage you when it comes to AMEX.
My BCE started out at $1,000. After a year I got an auto-increase to $8,000. I PC'd my BCE to the Cash Magnet on Friday and then yesterday did the 3XCLI and received $20,000.
The most important thing is to show consistent use and paying on time and AMEX eventually gets greedy and will up your limits so you use their card more.
Good luck to you!

Does this mean he did not try using the AMEX 3XCLI guide one day 61 per the forums?
Sounds like he is in the Amex version of credit steps. I doubt you can get a 3x at day 61 in that program.
My 5th statement just cut on Sunday. My sl was 500 with no sub and no 0% interest period. My score when I appd was ex 654 I had a couple of late payments about 8 months before I applied. I didn’t get the 3x cli at 61 days even though I only asked for 500. I’ve run about 750 a month through the card paying twice a month and never leaving a balance since I have gotten it.
Im interested to see if I get an increase this month or next.
I think I’m out of their steps program because I applied for the magnet last week and was approved for 5k sl.

What were your scores when you first got the card and after you received your latest increase?
I believe my scores were mid to high 600s when I first got the BCE and my scores were in the 720s when I asked for the CLI that got me 20K. My balance on the card was $0 at the time if that helps
