Got an alert regarding the Amex Green I recently got to replace my Platinum and Altitude Reserve.

There is speculation that Amex will be refreshing the Green card soon.

Oh no! I don't want an increase in my $55 annual fee. It was hard to justify paying the increase from $35 to $55. I like having an npsl charge card and it is my oldest card. I'd hate cancelling it.
Wow, you're getting quite a grandfathered rate!
At the current af, I don't see the attraction, can anyone explain? Can you get a high return for the mr points?
There must be a new offer for the plain name. Will probs be average still. And the name will still make me laugh.
For people who cruise or RV or utilize a lot of public transit, Green is fantastic. Tolls, parking lot fees, campgrounds all 3x. People associate travel with flights and hotels but there is a lot going on in this world. Lounge access doesn't matter to someone who takes their home/hotel with them behind their vehicle😂. Clear works in places besides airports.

The Green card is no longer showing on Amex's main credit card website.
Now wondering what the new AF will be?

I am hoping it stays below the Gold as they need something there. So I am assuming it stays at $150. I wonder if they move it to a flat 2x or 1.5x.
Its was 3x Travel/Transit/Restaurants 1x everything else. The gold refresh was basically nothing but boosting amex travel earn.
I assume it stays mostly the same but with amex travel boost.
Then again they didnt rename the current gold card before they did that.
