Again, like a previous poster asked.... what foundation did you lay from May 2020 until now to allegedly obtain this black card? 🤔 Next question, when did you meet the $250,000 requirement to be invited? Not to mention you go straight into the Black card with out any other previous Amex cards 👀... Make it make sense.....
Why so skeptical? I was personally offered a Centurian card yesterday on the phone. It did not even have any 10K fees either. The nice gentleman with a foreign accent was going to express ship it to me when I got 5,000 bucks in gift cards to him. He also promised to fix my computer, get the IRS off my back, who was headed here to arrest me, and send me my inhertance from an unknown relative.

Congratulations then to the both of you. Be sure to get those gift cards, allow him to fix your computer, obtain that inheritance and get the IRS off your back. 🎉 It's too early in the morning for this.... Can't manage IRS obligations but Amex is offering you a Black Card... okay! 😩🫤 Good luck and the best of wishes.
@Anonymous wrote:Has anyone on this forum noticed how Amex has been tightening up on user spending lately? I have the personal centurion card and it's been annoying the **** out of me these past couple of weeks. Every time the card reaches a certain balance (around 40k), I'll get a dozen notifications via text, email, or phone call notifying me that they are pausing my spending. It always happens at the most inconvenient of times, and the only solution is to call my banker and have her wire a payment to reactivate the card. Concierge is useless IMO. They say that the account is in perfect condition and that it's because my spending is higher this month (it's the holidays, obviously). Keep in my mind I have no missed or returned payments and that my score hovers around 780. Amex has just been extremely panicky for no specific reason. It's gotten to the point where I'm considering downgrading this card to the Platinum version or closing it altogether. $15k entrance fee and then $5k annually just to get hit with these annoyances. At this card level, I shouldn't have to deal with this. Concierge couldn't even get my niece and her friends floorseats to the Taylor Swift concert. What a joke. Seriously, anyone who's been wanting or considering getting this card - don't.
????????????
I can't take this post seriously....at all

LOL
Yes, I'd like some pointers
Hire a great legal team to negotiate with creditors and pay every single outstanding balance in full
that's what my parents did for me
I'm going to go ahead and lock this thread before aliens, Apple Jack, and chupacabra make appearance.
@Anonymous you will rarely see "never happened" posts because for the most part we stay out of tall tales or express slight disbelief when things don't add up. Sometimes it's so that we don't run afoul forum rules, other times because it's not worth time/attention.
Usually, people are a lot better when telling stories, it requires enough truth to make it somewhat believable. You jumped the shark with first sentence, so that's something you might want to work on if you find this entertaining.
In other words, your credit mix of facts and fiction is not optimized. Next time (if there is such an animal), drop it down a few notches. Like 55 or something like that (consult legal team if unsure how many notches you ought to settle for).
