Amex Member Since - Question

I'm hoping the Amex gurus can answer a question for me... I have an Amex card through PenFed, and it says Member Since 2014 on it. Does this mean that If I get approved for any other Amex card that the Member Since will also be 2014? I was under the impression that only getting an Amex card from American Express directly would give a Member date, or do all Amex cards regardless of who issues them begin your Member year? Any insight would be helpful.

Sorry but only cards issued by Centurion Bank are entitled to the backdating and 3xCli perks.

No unfortunately. It's issued through Penfed on the Amex network but the issuer is still Penfed.

Member since is for the CU but as far as I know will not effect future reporting for their cards.
