Amex Multi Payments

Do they allow you to make multiple payments per month? Doesn't seem like it.

From what I've read, you only can't make multiple payments the first month... but can make multiple payments from every month after that going forward.  Not sure why this is the case, but that seems to be the way it goes.

Once you get your banking / payment accounts lined up and some experience with them, yes, you can make multiple payments in a month. Multiple payments from different bank accounts. Payments with the effective date of Today. You can also set up Autopayments, and initiate another Payment without bothering the Autopayment timing.

Yes. Usually when I'm trying to pay down/off a card, I make weekly payments. I've never had an issue with Amex.

I haven't had an issue I make multiple payments through out the month on both my cards just hit make payment and it will give u the option to pay in full, partial, and other something like that I always hit the last one and whatever amount I'm go pay.

Thanks BBS and NRB! Idk you couldn't do any of these things in the first month with Amex.

I push all my payments, never pull. I don't have Amex, for obvious reasons that you know about, but i would think you could make multiple payments if you pushed it though.

I did read that you couldn't do multiple payments with AmEx in the first month but I had no problems. I made like 5-6 payments in my first month as a cardmember.

Sure they do, I do it all the time.

First month I made a payment, then a day later tried to make another payment, wasn't able to, chatted with a rep online and they confirmed first month they won't let you do it online, but you can call it in and do it over the phone if needed. After the first month, it's all good.
