Happy Monday all...
I noticed charges on my PRG have been building up under the pending transactions section since last Thursday, June 20th. ALL charges since this date seem to be "stuck" there and nothing has officially posted to my account since then.. I also noticed when I pulled my Experian report that they did a soft pull on Experian for an AR.. My current posted balance is 431.00 and the amount pending is around 401.00. I had just paid PIF ( 2wks before the due date ) on the 13th in the amount of 1,100.00...
How long do pending charges take to post? Has anyone else seen a longer delay in pending charges to post? Thanks.

There's no single answer to that question. Some post quickly. Some take longer to post. My AmEx transactions typically post within a day or two but YMMV.

It could also be the company that you purchased from holding things up. Amex could be waiting to get the all clear from them.
I noticed the same thing on mine. My closing date is the 21st and no statement has generated. I called in just a few minutes ago to ask about it (this is my first month with the PRG) and wanted to be sure i understood everything..due dates, etc and why - despite my balance...and the fact that the closig date was 3 days ago, i was still showing as no payment due and didnt have a statement to download.
The rep said their online system is down/being updated and I should see that info in 24 hours.
So maybe that's the problem?

My billing date closed on 21st & nothing generated for me either. Hopefully it will soon as others have mentioned. Plenty of action still in pending mode that should have posted by now, but not really concerned.

Thanks a lot everyone for the updates..
So, I just had one drop from Pending to Posted since LAST Thursday.. As I stated above, ALL of my charges ( approx 15 or so ) were just sitting in the Pending Queue since Thursday - the same day I also noticed they did a soft pull on me for an AR.. I was just waiting for some dreaded letter from Amex telling me there's a problem... I like to be proactive on "issues"..
Will let you know if I hear anything on my end.. Thanks
I'm actually having the exact same issue - nothing posted since last Thursday, all transactions pending. I gave them a call, the CSR thought it was strange and connected me with their Authorizations dept, who spoke with me like I was an idiot and assured that on their end everything was showing as posted. Said to wait another 24-48 and call back if it's still stuck in pending.
Looks like they are having some kind of major technical issues if so many people are reporting the same scenario. Gave them a tweet about it, maybe that will speed things up.

Got a reply to my tweet: "We are aware of the issue, and working diligently to correct the problem!"

You ROCK!!!
Out of all of my transactions since last Thursday, only one has dropped in to posted.. Everything else is still stuck.. I sent a secure mail to them yesterday and they just replied saying that everything was fine with my account and that these will move to posted at some time.. I wonder if this is some sort of way they can increase the amount of interest income they receive ( provided the issue is also on their revolvers ). We know that you can't pay your bill in full BEFORE the statement cuts if charges are still sitting in a pending state.. Therefore, during the statement processing phase, they also post all the pending trans at the same time and thereby not giving you the opportunity to pay in full and hoping you carry the balance forward.. LOL.. Something similar happened to me last month where a merchant refunded an order I placed for several hundred dollars, and Amex sat on it for 5 days, meanwhile my statement cut and Amex did not post the credit until AFTER or during the statement cut process and the credit didn't post it to my account until the statement was cut. Therefore, I carried those already "refunded" funds over to the next month as a balance. I don't know, but it seems strange..
Thanks for the good info you were able to get from them.. As long as my account is okay with them, then I don't really care.. ![]()
