I make several payments a month on my premier gold card and never been treated unfairly, service has been good to me so far been a  new cardholder member for 6 months now, placed a call to American Express this past weekend had to make a large purchase and asked if I would be able to charge $1,500.00 and the rep said yes mind you I still had a $123.00 balance on this card.  I never used the roadside assistance yet.

I dunno how they feel about multiple payments per month because I've usually made just one payment per month.

I have used the roadside assistance a few times and consider it a valuable benefit.

Re: Amex Question

I've had a Blue Cash for right at two years now. I've made between one to three payments per month.  I've payed right before my statement has cut so that I have a 0 balance on the statement, and I've also paid right after the statement cut, in the "traditional" pay when the get the statement way.  They haven't seemed to mind yet.

And no, haven't tried roadside assistance. The only time I've had to deal with them is when my card got warped from the heat in my car, and I asked them to replace it at their convenience.  They next-day aired it to my house.  A nice touch.

Current Cards:
American Express Blue Cash Preferred - March 2007 - CL $10,000
Citi Forward Visa Signature - September 2009 - CL $6,500
Chase Freedom - March 2011 - CL $15,000
Chase Sapphire Preferred - May 2013 - CL $12,500
Discover It - November 2013 - $5,000
Barclay Arrival - January 2014 - $10,000

I have no idea what they like.  All I do is use it and PIF before closing date once a month.  So then, they report ZERO balance.

No, I have not used that service yet.

Re: Amex Question

Used to be my main card for many years.    They are fine with 1 payment a month by due date.
