Surprising that the OP got denied for a PRG when he had a good history with the Green. Everyone always says how the amex charge cards all have the same underwriting and make it sound as if you qualify for one you can qualify for any of them...
Guess this confirmed my suspicion that the Plat and PRG is harder to get than the Green.

No. Not at all. Your pretty much dead in the water unless there is some error on your credit report and you can get it corrected and show it to them. Otherwise no.
