I just have a recurring 20 dollar charge on my Delta Amex Skymiles Blue. I use my Reserve, BCE quite a bit and the other two Amex much more than the Skymiles Blue. I received the offer below. I always PIF for my Amex cards so will likely pass. If it were one of my other lenders, I might have considered.
good call, it's a trap!
you think amex could offer 0.9% or something for six months and have people give it a second glance at least

Definitely. Something under 1% would actually be an enticing offer especially if you need a few months to pay down some debt. But I get that Amex likes its model and that's not really catered to one who might revolve debt. I have other lenders who are comfortable with that.
Citi Costco offered the same 9.99 APR last December until June 2025. I always PIF monthly, but I still signed up for it.
Disco just offered me 6 months of 2.99% interest. I accepted, 'though I'm not likely to take advantage of it.
Laughable offer, I'm assuming they definitely don't offer this to people carrying a balance , right?
Student Loans=$35000, maximum allowed

That I would accept even if not planning to use it.

Laughable indeed. Probably not offered to those carrying a balance, though I'm not sure. I hadn't really used the card as much compared to my other Amex card so wonder if they're trying to lure me into swipes. Hah
Amex sent a new APR promo today but for my BCP this time. Btw, I declined the previous offer on my Skymiles Blue.
