Interesting datapoint, it may be only certain stores. The ones in mass are a negative for costco.
Wow, I had assumed everyone would get double the points for Costco.

I'm in CA. Here, there's actually tons of places showing up on the Eco bonus that you'd never guess.
I hate that some people get discounts at Costco and Wal-Mart and some don't.
I shop at Costco all the time and don't get double points. I get double points at Whole Foods and Chipotle, though.

Just as a side point to those curious, Greenopia takes suggestions for businesses to include. I'm not sure if that affects points or not, but there were some thrift stores and local businesses around here I went ahead and suggested. The email address is: eco-concierge@greenopia.com
"Thanks for the submission.
Greenopia is happy to answer any green questions. And if you have a suggestion for a green business that we don’t know about, tell us. The eco-concierge will look into it.
Greenopia will get back to you within 24 hours — Monday through Friday. If you ask on the weekend, we’ll get back to you on Monday by 5 p.m. (we like days off, too)."
I'm not sure if it actually works, but, I went ahead and suggested some local shops for inclusion.

To be fair I don't have enough info about the emissions at the sweatshops in Asia.
Someone had stated that Costco is considered green but I've never recieved double points there. Trader's works. Some should double if you have the restaurant pack. (Essentially that means 3X)... I haven't looked carefully at the MR statements but I believe so anyway. Gosh I have 3 charge cards now. The zync is a good deal, so I may keep the plat and zync and cancel the PR gold when it comes up next year. fortunately there's time to consider these things.
