Re: Amex Zync for Business

Why would you even want to use a Zync for a business card? It's an inferior product with a very high chance of a FR. If you want a business card, get a business card. The Zync is primarily for people trying to get their foot in the door with Amex, or for people with full MR accounts already.

Re: Amex Zync for Business

I own a company"llc" for 6 1/2 years and a Zync card. The Zync is personal. My company had no debt and no credit. I pay with our checking account. I want to apply for Lowes card to get my foot in the door for business credit. I spend over 80-90k a year for equipent for my company through one supply house.  I think Amex would turn me away because of no past company credit.

I'll try for the green biz card, since it's almost identical to the zync.

IMO, if you've gotten away with it, they haven't caught up to you yet. Don't rock the boat with them unless you want to fork over your tax info, to them.

Don't have an LLC, or incorporation yet -- only sole proprietorship. You're allowed to use personal cards for sole proprietorship. I'm in the process of upgrading my business to an LLC (sent the paperwork, etc) so I was curious whether you can use the zync; because I didn't want to use a business "debit" card -- no rewards, or anything.
