What is the minimum score to try with amex ? in my case they pull just TU and is the only score i know. im interested in BCE or ED.
If you know for a fact Amex pulls TU, that's helpful as they tend to use EX.
Anecdotal evidence puts their minimum score at around 660, assuming your baddies (if any) are old.
I just got approved and they pulled my experian and my experian FICO8 is 646 (according to Experian). I dont know if Amex sends you the credit score they used when you receive the card. My baddies are 4+ years old
I try 2 times , 1 in march and 1 in april , both times they pull only TU , not appear anything in EQ or EX. i have 3 lates (2013- 2yrs-6mon old)
So is that FICO ex or the ex faco? I know that they have both. 646 seems very low for amex, but would be good to know for people trying to get in with them.

I track my credit actually through Experian on their website and I've been told that the FICO score they give is an actual FICO score. I know they have a "Plus" Experian score and a FICO8 score on the website. Both are 646. Amex kept sending me offers urging me to apply. I was quite surprised myself. I keep pulling up their charge cards, and BCE & ED on their "pre-qualified" site.

It's never just about score but take a look in the Credit Pulls Database.

Make sure you're running the numbers for your spend and considering total cost/benefit -- not just choosing based on AF. The BCE is rarely a best fit in terms of rewards. For any MR cards like the ED & EDP (again, don't choose just on AF) make sure you're not just looking at the points earn rates but looking at redemptions to determine the value you can get per MR point.

Instead of hoping to just clear the bar on minimum requirements work on addressing those and any other derogs on your reports. Hit the Rebuilding subforum.
I try remove them but nelnet is hard with lates remove.
Just an update....
Received my card in the mail today. (only took 4 days) Experian does indeed give you your actual credit score because the credit score Amex sent me with my card matches what Experian says.
