Amex auto increase

I apologize in advance if this has been answered. I just received an auto increase from Amex. My question is will I still be able to ask for an increase 3x the limit at 181 days which will be at the end of this month?

Anyone please feel free to chime in.

Thank you!!

Is this your first credit line increase from Amex?

Re: Amex auto increase

It does not make you ineligible. If you ask and they approve it you may get less than 3x. You could also give the new limit a month or two to settle in before asking. Just because 181 days are up doesn't mean you NEED to ask. I'm guessing that the 181 reference suggests you were approved for a CLI at your last request
PERSONAL; Amex | AOD FCU | BBVA | BECU | Capital 1 | Chase | Citi | Discover | Key | NFCU | PSECU | SECU MD | Synchrony | US Bank
BUSINESS; Amex | Citi
F8 Current F8s ~750 Best Ever F8s ~775
TOTAL PERSONAL CL > $350k and TCL > $365k

Re: Amex auto increase

In my experience I have been able to "double dip" on the CLI's. If auto, I have asked for more and they have in all cases except for once raised it $1,000 more.

No, I requested one at 61 days, 3x the limit and received the requested amount.

@chasing750, you are correct I was approved on my last request. Perhaps I will wait as you suggested for a couple of months and see what happens.
