This is what frustrates me about cases like yours. I didn't have to do anything. They always have reported it correctly.
Now however with what I am reading above, I am wondering if my score with TU will go down. After all, if they loved me with the system they were using and reporting me correctly, then obviously I am in store for a change as far as TU is concerned. In which direction is my concern.
I will say that I have had most of these Amex accounts for years........so maybe the correct score was "grandfather" forward from their previous scoring models.
I would suggest you do what a lot of people here suggest. Just keep going after them with the issue. (in a nice way) If they block you in one avenue, look for another. AFTER ALL, IT IS YOUR CREDIT.
Good luck to you,

post script: I don't know about the rest of you but I don't like any changes in scoring. We work to attain a better credit profile by their rules and then they change the rules to the game (literally) in the middle of our efforts. Backing off the AU issue is an example to me that MyFico is not all knowing and without flaws, therefore changing doesn't in anyway guaranty greater fairness or honestly in the process. This is the feeling they want us to have though.
@Anonymous wrote:how did you get them to report it correctly? i have fought for so many months - i even got amex to do a manual update for me but TU won't do anything about it. transunion refuses to investigate.the last letter i received from them, told me they consider the dispute frivoulous and will no longer look into the issue.

I hope you can get that worked out. TU has gone from my lowest to highest score over the past year and a half. They do report my Amex CHARGE and revolving correctly so I can't imagine what the problem for you would be, but since they are correct for me I lean toward thinking it is a TU issue and not Amex.
Good luck and do push the issue . If mine is correct , I'm sure many are and many are not, so give them a push, they have no excuse to be inaccurate. Of course that sounds easy but we both know they will try to pass the buck.
