Amex chat option not here

Hi,

Has anyone had this issue? I have no option for Amex Chat. Id says "chat with us" but then no button to push just a blank white screen. The bubble has never popped up as well.

Is this an issue with Apple products like iPads and iPhones? I called their technical dept and they could not figure it out.

Tried all options as far as browsers and settings. She said try a desktop I don't own one and the old website link dosnt show one either.

Any ideas?

As far as I know, AMEX chat isn’t available on the mobile site. Try forcing your phone browser to pull up the full/desktop website and you should see the chat option available then.

Just used Amex Chat on Chrome a few minutes ago to ask about my SUB status. Works fine.

Use the AMEX app. Top right corner there's a message icon. Hit that and there is an option that says "message us."

This has happened to me a few times on the desktop (Macbook). Usually clearing the cookies & cache works for me.

It's happened to me on my Macbook Pro (using Google Chrome) a couple times. I simply went back to the main account information page and it came back. Maybe only certain pages are missing links to it?

Thanks. I did figure this out, it can be done on a mobile it just needs to be done via desktop website version.
