Thanks for your post!
I recently got the AMEX Everyday card and was wondering the same thing about carrying a balance.
Congrats on the CLI!
Just thought I'd revive this two month old thread with a personal update.
A month ago I requested a SP AMEX CLI and was denied ( received 7-10 day message ) due to request was under 6 months from most recent increase. It said 7-10 days but email was received within a minutes for status.
Tonight I tried 3X CLI again. I believe I'm close to the 6 month mark.. but may be off by a few days. In any case I was denied ( 7-14 day ) message.
I am currently carrying a balance at 0% interest at about 90% of CL. Let's hope a final decision is coming soon. I hope my recent cancellation of the PRG didn't send AMEX the wrong message.
Just wondering what the outcome was on your CLI request. I am fully taking advantage my 0%APR on my Blue Cash Everyday for a kitchen remodel. I would love to ask for a CLI just wondering if I would be rejected. I have been making regular payments well over the minimum oftentimes twice in a month. Haven't been able to find the answer anywhere going through the forums. I have a 15,000 CL and I am using about 13,000 of it at this time.

Well this is one of my Old Threads. at the time. i did get the full 3x increase. but my usage was low. im not sure with that kind of utilization. what would be your overall utilization on all your cards?. my be a hard sell to amex. but i could be wrong. what is the minimum if you don't mind me asking. on a $13.000 balance. you would have come off better. getting a lowes or Home Depot card. which would also offer 0%. but they give massive limits. now. most are asking for $35-50k.
Thanks for taking the chance and letting us see what happens.

I got both my BSP CLIs with a balance showing.
$1,000/$5,000 when CLI to $7,000
$2,200/$7,000 when CLI to $12,000
Hope that helps...
Thanks for the info. I'm going on my last 3xcli on July 12th. Going to put about 2-2.5k on it & pif before last statement cuts. I have a balance on a Venture & BofA. Don't want to take a chance. I'm going to ask for 24 and settle for 18.
I did CLI request this morning, and was approved! Going from $10K to $25K on my BCE with about $800 and change on the card
I went ahead and requested a CLI from 15k to 24k and I got a message saying to try again in 24 hours. Then I get an email saying that they were finished reviewing my request and to click here to see the decision. The link takes me to an american express website and asks for my social security number and zip code. Seems a bit on the shady side so I think I will call customer service just to be safe.
