Amex cli with balance

Odds and Timing?

Current Balance 1800/2500

Payment this morning of 1200

Should I wait until Monday or Saturday to do the online request for 7500? And just to clarify new accounts with no other AMex relations do not have to wait the initial 61 days?

Congratulations!

My Amex experience was similar, although they had given me an auto CLI of 1k after about 4 months of using the EveryDay card.

Then I get an email saying that they were finished reviewing my request and to click here to see the decision. The link takes me to an american express website and asks for my social security number and zip code. Seems a bit on the shady side so I think I will call customer service just to be safe.

 Just check your online account, if they approved it would be there already.

For what it's worth, I  got a CLI on my BCE with 81% UTIL.

1.8k balance on a 2.2k limit.

I called and they said I would get the result in 7 to 10 days my account hasn't changed so I am assuming I was denied.

Just an update. I was approved for 3x this morning with a balance on account. I made a $1200 payment yesterday and is the second payment since obtaining the card. Even with the payment I have $600 balance. Only had the card for 30 days as of today.
