Soft pull or hard pull? I searched the archives and found an old post where the majority said soft with a few saying hard. I did a Google search and a well known company said its a hard pull. Just looking for others experience because i don't want to request one if it's a hard pull.
Welcome to myFICO. CLI are SPs for the most part. When do you get your AMEX?
Thank you. I've been a long time lurker. It's a Blue cash everyday that I've had for 5 years.

Almost always soft pull.

Always been SP as far as I've seen.

Has always been a soft pull for me too. All of my self initiated requests have been sp's.
Thanks everyone. I appreciate the responses!
The earliest to request a CLI is usually 91 days. You are way good at 5 years. Please report back upon your success.

I believe they start asking for hard pulls at like 35k, but you can hack it by doing limit transfers from a different card to a point.

No, the myth about $35k breakpoint refers to asking for income verification. Nothing to do with hard pulls.
