Hey everyone!! Hope yall are doing well!!
I have a quick question that maybe someone more experienced can answer. I will try to be brief.
So I have a $10k Delta and a $24.5k BCE. I love my BCE, but Delta doesnt get used much; with all the changes to the programs and what not, it seems too damn difficult to even try and earn rewards.
Anyhow, I know I have to wait 13 months to transfer the limit on the Delta,
but....
Is it even really possible to transfer the whole $10k limit to BCE (resulting in a BCE with a $34.5k cl)??? Will it be possible to re allocate credit lines to get a line that high?? Is there risk of getting a FR?
Thanks in advance.

I moved most of BCE limit to my BC, at the time getting $43K, so it is certainly allowed. It won't create an FR (by itself anyway!), they do ask for income. If they have questions, they may ask you for a 4506-T, which you can then decide whether to do or not.
Okay, that sounds good.
If they do request the 4506t thing, I will of course have to make a tough decision.
But it's nice to know that I can have that high of a limit. I might end up leaving a thousand or two on delta just to keep it open. I dont mind the AF, esp since I have the lowest APR of 15.24% on that card, AND they put this 9.99% for 12 months on my Delta Gold too. Im trying to get over the $25k limit hump, but even though my income is mid 6 digs, I think that 25-30k is all any one lender is going to allow me to have available. lol I suppose that is sufficient haha.
Thanks longtime lurker!!

If one makes 500k then, I'm sure 25-30k isn't the top of what a lender is going to extend to this type of individual. Just my thoughts.
All you can do is try it, and if it doesn't work then nothing lost... you'll still have the accounts just the way they are. Best of luck!

With $500k income I don't see any reason why you could not get a $100k CL card provided DTI is good and scores are good.
Mid 6 digits is a little ambiguous. It can mean, as you would expect, say 400-700K, but is also used to mean ~ $150K. Don't know which young means. If the former, yes, > $30K shouldn't be an issue!
Yall are crazy ! I mean 150k not 500k. although 200k could be in the near future!!!! hahaha. I truly love my job. Looking to do something in a larger market soon though.
I've got a 1:1 ratio for my base salary vs total CL. So it's totally possible with 150k income. Now, with my bonus I do push over the 6 digit land.
