Amex green upgrade/product change question

hi everyone,

I have been haveing the AMEX green for 9 months now and i really do not want to pay the annual fee. Is there any way that i can ask for aany amex card without an annual fee? how difficult is it to get an AMEX credit card? and does the fact that i have been with amex for 9 months help?

Equifax score 697, experian 689, transunion 670

i also have alot of inquiries, but many of them were for at&t, comast and car loan recently.

You will have to re-apply, as Amex only P/Cs from charge to another charge.  

The fact that you've been with Amex 9 months definitely will help, though keep in mind that even though Amex doesn't use FICO scores all that much, they are a general indicator, and your scores are a little lower than approvals for revolving products come at.  740+ is generally the preferred range for their credit products.  (I was declined a Clear card with 762, so YMMV).
