Amex new Gold Card approval odds!

I want the new amex gold card but im not sure if my credit scores/income are good enough to apply at the moment.. I have zero derogatory marks, zero hard inquiries, zero late payments, 2yrs of credit history with 2 credit cards. I have EX720 TU715 EQ710 and 30k income... I don’t wanna apply and get rejected! Help is appreciated

That sounds good to me.  Did you try the prequal first?  Even if nothing comes up, I still think you would be approved with a cold app.

I did but sadly none of the charge cards are shown as pre-qualified

I think odds are good. At least 80%. I have seen people with 695 score and 20k income approved.

Call them up. They will work with you.

I’ll have to apply first, and see what happens. My father didn’t have a difficult time applying for The Plum Card for his business, i have no clue why im not being targeted as a 23yo

I think you’re good. Amex charge cards are easier to get than credit cards.

Given the information you listed I would be surprised if you were not approved.

Do keep in mind that the annual fee is $250 and it is not waived the first year.
