Zync app encountered an error, but shows up as In Progress under App status

"We will notify you once your application has been processed, or if we need additional information. If you wish to view an electronic communication of your decision details once we have made a decision"

Will call new accounts tomorrow and let everyone know how it works out.

Well I submitted the application, and I got the "your application is being processed" message.

The status check says "Check back on this site in 24 hours".

I don't know what to make of that.

I talked to someone at New Accounts, this application has gone through and is currently in the process of being decisioned.  Will post back as soon as I hear something.

DENIED!!!!!!!!

I'm about to give up on Amex.  I suppose I could probably just live with 2 Visa cards through college.

Try them again after at least one month. You said you have a Citicard do you have the Citi Forward? That one is designed for College students. I was denied by Amex before now I have a Gold Premier Rewards card.

how come u were denied for Zync when your credit was much better than mine I had 5 new accounts within 8 month period, 8 month credit history, double digit inqs and what not. Sounds like one of those random amex denials.

When I had no credit history (i was new in US) last year, amex denied me credit for some supposed default on an auto loan LMAO!
