Amex over the limit!!!!!

So I was planning on hitting the luv button real soon since my EX score in on the rise. Let my DW take the Amex for the weekend and logged on to my account and it is $13 over the limit of $1000. Just made a payment of $850. Think there is any chance of getting some luv from Amex or no way.

Honestly I think no way, becuse they dont do hard pull's the first thing they look at is youre account activity. They look  you're balances and payments also for best results have you're account completley paid off.

Re: Amex over the limit!!!!!

I think over the limit crap is bogus. If you're over the limit, they should start rejecting the transactions!!

Either way, I'd want at least 5X my expected spending as my credit limit, or i wouldn't use the card. Plus that keeps your util down.
