Amex just did the weirdest thing..... I have multiple cards with them. I pay them off monthly. No business cards all personal, resonable spend because of house projects and kids but it's always been a consistent spend since around 2022 now. I randomly got an email that they placed a preset limit on my gold card. I maybe spend 500 dollars a month on that one which is low compared to the 10k+\- I spend on my platinum. Anyway I called and asked if I had done something (or see if there was something fraudulent I missed because this was odd). They said they didn't have any additional info and the decision was based on my history with no specific info. They also stated nothing could be done to review the decision, I offered to send in tax info if they were concerned about income or something. Three weeks later the limit was removed. What is going on? lol Anyone else had this experience?
