Tought Id share a chuckle with you guys. I am an AU on parents account with Amex , simply for the purpose of maintaining an active member since year. So they sent new sets of cards and my card ( the AU ) had member since as 2013 instead of the backdate as on the primary account holder. I called and the rep confirmed she say 2003 as my member since date, she sent it for review etc blah blah...I said fine. I just received a replacement card today .....I received an Amex Open Business spg card instead of a personal spg card. Just a mistake on paper of course lol They did get the date right all I care really.
LOL! I hate it when that happens.
My wife has a fairly common first name, and she just loses her mind when people/credit card companies misspell it into something more exotic...

You should call the CSR to make sure that you are issued a personal card - NOT the Business Card.
The CARD Act law that is there to protect consumers DOES NOT apply to business credit cards.
That is why the credit card companies have recently been pushing their business credit cards on people who don't even own a business.
They can jack your interest rates and fees whenever they want - you are only protected when you have a personal consumer card.
Could be worse. They could have sent you a Centurion lol
