Amex question

I've been in the garden for 6 months. My EX is pretty clean now, only with a 5.5yr old CO showing 0 balance and an auto loan with 4 30 day lates, last one in 2008. AAoA is just under 2yrs. Auto loan paid off in 2009. UTI is at 60%, with working to pay it down as soon as possible? EX FAKO IS 718. Looking to get PRG with the intent of getting one of their revolvers. Any suggestions??
Amex PRG(NPSL), Amex BCE($5K), Amex Hilton($1K), NavCheck ($15K), NFCU CR Siggy($20K), USAA Amex($7K), USAA World MC($7K), CSP($2.3K), Chase Marriott($1.8K), Care Credit($2.5K), Cap1 QS($3.5K), VS($500), Cap1 Secure($200) Starting Scores(Jan 2013): FICO EQ: 643, TU: 552, EX: 567 Current Scores(Sept. 2016): FICO EQ: 672, TU: 703(?), EX: 682 In the Garden FOR-EV-ER!!!!! I would apply for the PRG and if approved immediately apply for the revolver of your choice. If declined, no further apps for another 3-6 months and work on getting your baddies removed and UTI under 20% preferably under 10%.

Re: Amex question

I'd get your UTI down to <10% before apping for AMEX.

Re: Amex question

I wouldn't apply for AMEX until you get your utilization down to at least 15% or lower.

DCU Platinum: 4000 - Discover IT: 11000 - Walmart: 5000 - AMEX BCP: 18000 - Chase Freedom VS: 5000

+1 this first (UTL)

Then weigh your options

Before you app think...
Have you done your research of the CC?
Does it fit your spending?
Do you have a plan for the bonus w/o going into debt?
Can you afford the AF?
Do you know the cards benefits? Is it worth the HP?
