I recently got approved for an amex card, and was hoping I would be backdated, but I wasnt. I just found the old amex I was an AU on and it was a business amex. Is it still possible to get the backdating? Has anyone successfully managed to do this?
Thanks
You can try asking through their chat feature. Business cards are a YMMV

Chat reps don't ask as many questions.
Well, I spoke to a chat rep and I have to say the customer service with them is phenomenal. They went ahead and backdated my card to 2005. The representative didn't ask me for any info aside from that, overall the entire experience was easy and painless. once this updates this will officially be my oldest acount by 5 years!
