This is my first AMEX card and the open date is Oct 18, 2013. Roughly how long it takes for AMEX to show on my credit report? statment closing date is Nov 1.
they will report it as Oct 2013 or Jan 2013?
Your first Amex will report with the open date (month/year). Subsequent ones will report month-that-this-card-was-opened/year-first-was-opened
so your card will show Oct 2013 and if you get another in Jan 2014, it will show Jan 2013.
